Synapse Swap

How to Play

Your goal is order from chaos. The board is filled with words that have been mixed up, and you must act as the "synapse" connecting them back correctly!

The Rules

• You are presented with 4 root words and a grid of 16 other words. Each of the 16 words is a synonym to one of the root words
• The goal is to get each word under its root word. Words which are in the correct quadrant are marked green while those in the incorrect quadrant are marked grey
• Swap words by dragging and dropping them from one quadrant to another. When you drag a word you need to drop it on another word so that the words swap positions.
• Try to solve each grid within a minute and less than 10 swaps to maintain your streak!

Example

Imagine two categories: HOT and COLD.
The board is mixed up: [FREEZING] [BOILING] [CHILLY] [SCALDING]

You would swap [FREEZING] with [SCALDING] so that BOILING/SCALDING are together under HOT, and FREEZING/CHILLY are together under COLD.

Tips for Success

Identify the most obvious category first. Once you secure one group, the remaining words have fewer places to hide, making the rest of the puzzle much easier to deduce.

Try and make double swaps. Drop the word on such a word that when they exchange places both of them are in the correct spot

This is not a one puzzle a day game. You can play as many puzzles as you like!
