How to Play

Quipbits is a daily puzzle where a witty one liner needs to be guessed. There are 5 rounds and in each round you can select a specific number of letters which will show up in the quote at their respective positions.

The objective of the game is to guess the quote in as few rounds as possible.

The Rules

  • Select 5 letters in the first round, then 4, then 3, then 2 and finally 1 in the fifth round
  • After every round you can make a guess. You need to guess the entire quote and partial guesses will not be counted
  • The sooner you guess the quote, the better your score will be
  • Share your results with your friends and see who was able to guess the quote in fewer rounds

Example

Here is a sample one-liner: If you think nobody cares if you're alive, try missing a couple of car payments

In the first round you select 5 letters, eg. A, E, S, D, T. The puzzle will show you where these letters occur in the quote (see reference image below)

Tips for Success

  • Select vowels and most commonly used consonants in the first round
  • If you have already identified a word, dont try to pick those letters in the next round. Try to also include other letters so you can get a clue of the other words
