How to Play
Joined Words are words that can be expressed as a combination of two words eg. Football, Strawberry, Tenant. Joined Words tests your ability to make connections between seemingly unrelated clues. Every day, you are presented with 3 clues that all describe one word.
The Rules
- Look at the three clues provided on the screen.
- Find the single "hidden word" that fits to all the three clues.
- The hidden word must form a valid Joined word.
- Type your guess and see if you've cracked the clues! If you aren't sure, you can also take hints such as revealing the first letter or number of letters
Example
If the clues are:
First Word: A part of the body
Second Word: Something children play with
Joined Word: An international sport
The answer is Football. A part of the body is Foot, something children play with is Ball, and an international sport is Football.
Tips for Success
Always remember that you are thinking of a word made of two words. That way you can eliminate many possible answers. Sometimes reading the clues out loud helps your brain find the missing piece!
