How to Play
There are 24 words on the screen. You need to identify six sets of analogies in them. Each analogy consists of four words (two pairs of two)
The Rules
- Identify different possible relations between the words eg. parts to whole, cause and effect, object and functions etc.
- Very often you will find that one word can pair with more than one other word and that's where the challenge begins
- You can make upto 3 mistakes. The fourth mistake ends the game. Hints are an additional help to complete the game
- For every mistake or hint taken one star is deducted
Example
If the analogy is:
BIRD is to FLOCK as FISH is to ___
The relationship is "Animal to its Group Name". Therefore, the correct missing word is SCHOOL.
Tips for Success
Look for words that are unlikely to pair with more than one other word. These are your best bet to start with. As you identify analogies, the remaining words will become easier to pair
Spend a few mins to study all the words before deciding the analogies
